Small Hours Recordings is a new independent record label, founded in Spring 2013 by a group of friends in Lancashire..

After working together on various projects throughout 2012 including the Red Rose Roadshow tour of Lancashire, and Sofa Sessions live webcast gigs, David Shurr, Jamie Brewer, Bill Orrick, Baxter Rhodes and Shelley Booth decided to put their heads together to create a platform to release and promote their work as emerging artists.

The Small Hours ethos is to support the flourishing local creative scene, running Sofa Sessions webcasts as a monthly online platform for the best local music. Working with local musicians, recording engineers, videographers and photographers, our goal is to create, publish and promote high-quality original music from the north-west, and to help these songs to be heard by the wider music-loving audience.
