Regularly clocking up over 100 live performances each year across the UK, Baxter is no stranger to the stage. Highlights include opening shows for virtuosos such as John Gomm and John Smith, and festival appearances including Beatherder, Cloudspotting, Bristol Folk Festival, and Reeferstock, sharing the bill with the likes of Nick Harper, Chris Helme, and Fairport Convention.
Baxter has also performed several live sessions and interviews for BBC Radio, All FM, PRS for Music, and Unconvention.
Alongside his latest album 'Breathe' (Spring 2020), he has also released three studio EPs, 'Safe and Sound', 'Endeavour', and 'Deep River'. All three received positive reviews from music websites, reviewers, and fellow musicians alike, and have earned repeat radio play and appearances on BBC Radio.
'Deep River'' was released in Spring 2014 and is available on Bandcamp, iTunes, Spotify and all major digital stores.
A serious injury to his right hand in 2015 delayed plans for a debut studio album, and forced a break from live performances whilst he re-trained his hand to play guitar again.
Once fully healed, he was able to enlist the help of Philip Gleave (Percussion), Rose Greenwood (Bass Guitar) and Dom Dudill (Violin) to create
and launch 'Breathe'. The album was recorded and mixed by Leon Phythian,
with help from Mael Hanet and Craig Kinsella, in Salford, United Kingdom.
